Services Offered
I maintain full-time private practice working with individuals experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression (including postpartum depression and motherhood-related concerns), addictions, bipolar disorder, anxiety and panic, trauma, relationship and family issues, the lasting impact of childhood adversity, self-esteem and body-image struggles, and challenges related to life transitions.
I provide both short-term psychotherapy and long-term psychoanalytic work to adults of all ages, using a contemporary psychoanalytic, dynamic, and integrative approach. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a method of treatment that explores thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns in depth, creating space for insight, emotional understanding, and lasting change. It rests on the recognition that early experiences and relationships deeply influence how we feel, how we think, and how we cope throughout life. These formative experiences shape our sense of self — our capacities for self-esteem, confidence, stability, and emotional connection. Most psychological concerns are well suited to this depth-oriented work.
My approach is contemporary psychoanalytic and insight oriented. I work collaboratively to understand and work through long-standing emotional patterns and painful experiences — often rooted in earlier relationships — that interfere with one's ability to feel alive, connected, and fully engaged in life. A brief initial phone consultation helps determine whether the services I offer match what you are seeking.
